| Since the
term " Outsider Art " has been highlighted to describe
a new type of art, I have often seen my work categorized into that
terminology. In spite of the similarities that were found around
that new style, I still consider my work to be a pure coincidence
of creativity that doesn't follow any predetermined path.My vast
experience in creation has proven to me that no theory can explain
imagination. In fact, it comes when you focus the least.
The best result is to let yourself be overtaken by your free thoughts and be lead by your brush, pencil or whichever medium you use. While creating a work of art I let my eyes harmonize my unconscious with lines and colors that will shape the painting. It is like been flung into a universe of different perspectives where forms, lines and colors are released from the common sense of our human stat. I suddenly become closely connected
to the magic silence that flows inside myself. People who are
attracted by this art style are usually driven by this new vision.
Without much analysis of the symmetrical and proportional relations
of each component, they are touched by the magical result of a
piece of art full of emotion, history and personal perspective
of life. The ultimate pleasure is when I see people with emotion
in their eyes, a joy or a smile when they look at my work. I then
feel we are sharing something special. |
